On September 25th, 2023, the Central Library in Pärnu, Estonia, served as the venue for the latest Plenary meeting of EAAD-Best. Project partners from across Europe gathered to discuss the current state of the project, and its sustainability moving forward.
The event commenced with a warm welcome from Peeter Varnik and Ulrich Hegerl, setting the stage for a day filled with profound discussions and fruitful collaboration. Ulrich Hegerl and Katharina Schnitzspahn provided a comprehensive overview of the EAAD-Best project, spotlighting its notable achievements to date. It was a moment to acknowledge the dedication and hard work of everyone involved.
Significant topics of conversation revolved around alliance building and the progress of activities in transfer countries. The meeting delved deeply into sustainability efforts within EAAD-Best countries, featuring enlightening country presentations. These discussions underscored the critical importance of ongoing commitment to the project’s objectives.
A dedicated session focused on the iFightDepression®-tool and awareness website, highlighting their pivotal role in supporting mental health. The conversations revolved around strategies for maximizing the impact of these resources. Essential aspects of project management, such as finance and reporting, were thoroughly addressed to ensure the continued smooth operation of the project. Discussions regarding project communication emphasized its vital role in engaging stakeholders and disseminating crucial information.
