What data will be collected?

This website uses the analysis service, Google Analytics. This does not collect IP addresses for us, but does collect the following data:

Non-personal data

  • When and for how long you visit the www.eaad-best.eu website
  • What content you access, when and for how long
  • The country and approximate region you access the website from
  • If you did not manually enter the URL, the website or search engine that referred you to www.eaad-best.eu
  • Technical data needed for displaying the site, such as the browser and Internet Service Provider used

Newsletter data

If you would like to receive the newsletter offered on our website, we need an e-mail address from you as well as information that allows us to verify that you are the owner of the e-mail address provided and that you agree to receive the newsletter. 

Further data is not collected or is only collected on a voluntary basis. We use this data exclusively for sending the requested information and do not pass it on to any third parties.

The processing of the data entered in the newsletter registration form takes place exclusively on the basis of your consent (Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a GDPR). You can revoke your consent to the storage of the data, the e-mail address and their use for sending the newsletter at any time, for example via the “Unsubscribe” link in the newsletter. The legality of the data processing operations that have already taken place remain unaffected by the revocation.

The data you have stored with us for the purpose of subscribing to the newsletter will be stored by us until you unsubscribe from the newsletter and will be deleted after you unsubscribe from the newsletter. This does not affect data that we have stored for other purposes (e.g. e-mail addresses for the members’ area).

What will be done with this information?

Who will have access to my data?

Anonymised data may be shared among EAAD partners for research purposes only.

If the www.eaad-best.eu website is ever sold or transferred to another organisation, your data may then transfer to the buyer.

If there is any legal obligation to share the data obtained, data may be shared with third parties.

Data security

Data generated by use of the www.eaad-best.eu website is stored at the premises of an internet service provider in Germany and will be analysed by members of the European Alliance Against Depression (www.eaad.net). All reasonable physical and technical measures will be taken to ensure the security of the data at all points in this process. All participating project centres are subject to similar data protection laws Ireland and will process all data with greatest diligence.
